I would never intentionally break someones heart. When you are in love, it's a gamble.

Ok I am going to be completely honest with you. It doesn't matter who breaks up with who...it really doesn't. If you are in love with the person and for some reason it isn't working out....it hurts! It is easy to think that it would be less painful to just break up with them and save yourself from them breaking up with you. Or maybe you think that it would be easier if they ended it...kinda so you don't have to be the bad guy. Well either way it just plain hurts. It hurts to lose the person you are in love with no matter what side you are on. So if I though someone was about to break my heart...I wouldn't break theirs first. I would never want to break my Love's heart...ever. So if they do break up with you then maybe it wasn't meant to be...and there is someone else out there for you. It will be really hard for awhile....but don't lose hope. Remember---"When one door closes...another one always opens."--

Depends if I thought I could work it out and how much I cared about them. If I didn't give a rats @ss about them I would probably break up, yep. If I cared, I would do what I could to salvage the relationship, and take a chance on getting heartbroken. Good thing heart breaks heal......

Why would you think they were going to break your heart? If there is a problem in the relationship, you need to talk with the person. But if a person is going to end a relationship, don't try to beg them to stay, if it was meant to be it will be. Love them enough to let them go. Never break someone's heart first just to be the "winner", you will end up losing in the end.

No, because you never can be sure about the situation. If you really like them, don't play games. If they break your heart, it will hurt, but you will know how they truely feel. If you do it bcuz you are scard, it will still hurt, but you will never know if you made the right decision.

If someone is going to break your heart, probably they have no feelings for you. So it is impossible that you can break their heart. You can break someone's heart who loves you, not someone who doesn't.

No. I would not. What if I was wrong? I would rather have my heart broken knowing I had done my best than have it broken by an action that I made happen

Depends on your age. If you are young then you probably will sulk over it and maybe, just maybe break theirs first. However, at my age I will probably be dancing with joy. Good riddance! Lets find somebody else!!!

What, in the end does it matter? Relationships aren't games to play because your are bored or need some excitement in your life nor are they "get them before they get you" deals. What really matters is whether you and the other are getting what you need from the other.

Communicate with the person. It should not be some kind of point scoring thing.......never nice to try and deliberately hurt someone cos your scared they will fel they won or somthing if they hurt you first. Communicate....talk.
