I AM LOOKING FOR A TRANSPORT VEHICLE WHICH COULD TAKE ME PLUS MY FAMILY/FRIENDS AROUND WITH TOILET, BED, GENERATOR, TV/DVD, COMPUTER, REFRIGERATOR AND OTHER RELATED FACILITIES WITH A DRIVER FOR A LONG TERM TRAVELLING BASIS. OR CAN I GET ONE MADE FOR MY PERSONAL USE. WHERE CAN I GET IT DONE. WHICH VEHICLE IS MOST SUITED. WHAT ARE THE FORMALITIES. IT SHOULD ALSO HAVE PROVISION TO CARRY OUT DOOR CAMP/TENT REQUIREMENTS USED IN JUNGLE ETC TO CAMP IN JUNGLES AND INTERIORS OF INDIA.

No Caravans are available in India, but you can get a Tempo traveller customized for about Rs.10,00,000 excluding the cost of the base vehicle itself. This will be comfortable for about 2~3 people. politicians and Film stars do this routinely. Tempo travellers offer the best compromise between size and driveability.
There are a few custom-builders in Mumbai. DC Design used to be one of them, and there's another one called Mototech.

caravans are not meant to travel luxurously in india..its just used by nomads here:(..so in that case u have gotoo be choosy in yer luggage and tag family to hotels n then move around without luggage:!
i know pretty difficult but indya still progressin!

It is available in major cities, like Mumbai & Chennai. I am not sure about Bangalore. In Chennai, Film Stars are using for remote out-door shootings. Reputable travel agencies or film shooting organisers can help you.
