That is between her and him. She should be talking that over with him. She possibly wants to see if is time they need to see if they could work things out or not.

She is having a hard time letting go. I'm sure the house is a major concern, bye staying in contact you also lengthen the grieving period. If they truly want out then they should have no contact.

She is a mean ***** taking advantage of your friend. Sometimes
people get divorced because they want to find something better.
They use people as they go along. Of course she wants to
sell the house to get money.

Who can say why some people do the things they do? Only she can explain why she acts like she does, but my guess is she is not sure about what to do, what she wants. Divorce is never easy for any one and I am sure she is struggling too
