I'm a 19 year old college student with no job and no healthcare. I'm not eligible for medicaid under my parents anymore and I have no job to provide any type of healthcare. I don't understand why I can't recieve help when it comes to my health.

As long as you are in college, you should be covered on your parentsinsurance. I was. You might want to look into that more.

You can always go to the emergency room of a hospital to get help. By law, they cannot turn you away. You may have to wait to see the doctor for hours on end, but you will be treated.

From your question, you are confusing healthcare with health insurance. Just as with most things in this life, the more money you have, the better quality goods and services you can afford. Food, cars, clothes, healthcare, .... everything. You are only 19 years old but you are going to college. Get your education, then start your own company and earn all of the better things that life has to offer.

Check with your school. If you are as you say a college student, then their should be something available. Maybe not free, but insurance maybe. At a low cost that will help. There are free and reduced cost clinics in your area also I am sure.

Why do you think that you should get anything for free? Get a part time job. Like my kids did! Just because you are in school, does not mean that you should be given free stuff! This is life in the real world! And good luck to you in the future.

Be responsible... get a job that offers healthcare. Don't leech off the system. And stop whining like a little baby! You're in the grown up world now. Learn how to take care of yourself since it's YOUR responsibility, not the government's.

If you're a college student- the university you're attending probably has a health care clinic. Also, some colleges have health insurance coverage (provided by an outside ins. company)., but it's NOT free.

You need to talk to someone in student services.

Check to see about free clinics in your area; I'm guessing some still exist.

That's because you live in the USA.I really can't understand how a nation that claims to be the best one can allow this to happen. And of course not only to you but to millions of Americans. That's unbelivable at the least.
