1. The very existence of the country called "Israel" on the earth today. (Jews had no land for a number of centuries but they had a Will. They were harassed and tortured almost everywhere they went. See what Germany did to them during the second world war. They had no land, no safety but they had a Will.
Today Israel is a country on the earth, duly recognized by United Nations Organization and in almost the same place where their country was centuries ago. Why ? Since they had a will they got their way!)

2. Independence Struggle of India
(Non-violent independence struggle of India is a classic example of fighting for one's rights and independence by totally non-violent means. And yes, India got their independence in 1947 from the Britishers. Major struggle of Indians was based on the will of the non-violent freedom fighters and the will of common people of India)

3. Victory of South African people against "apartheid".
They had a will and today they have removed apartheid from their country. They have been successful by resorting to mostly non-violent moves of Nelson Mandella and his supporters.
They had a will, but neither resources nor power to see it through.
However today their will has found a way and they have been victorious in purging out apartheid from their country.

4. In 1967 Israel's stand in the war against 10 Arab nations at the same time ! American computers and defence analyst proclaimed the chances for Israel's victory were 1 in 10.
With so much odds against them they won that war by the will of Israeli soldiers and Israeli citizens !
Yes, a tiny country like israel then defeated 10 Arab countries fighting against it simultaneously when the chances of winning were less than 10 % (and of losing more than 90 %).
This happened due to their Will.

5. Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tensingh being the first humans to climb Mount Everest - the highest mountain peak in the world.

6. Invention of a "flying machine" or "a crude aeroplane" by Wright Brothers.

7. Invention of Telephone by Alexander Graham Bell.

8. Invention of Transistor by Shortliffe and others.

9. IBM's Deep Blue computer being able to draw or defeat the Chess Grand Master(s) in Chess game(s).

10. The discovery of the American continent(s) by Columbus.
See how he was pitted against the belief of that time that the earth is flat. His own sailors and crew of the ship were losing hopes of reaching any land in their voyage. Due to the belief prevalent at that time that the earth is flat and they will end up in a free fall of water and not land. With his will he kept the sailors in confidence to keep sailing and before the confidence was lost in him he found a way - the land of West Indies.
Without Columbus's will that time his sailors would have aborted the mission and sailing and would have returned before reaching Americas.

11. Marco Polo's expedition of the east.
His father's, uncle's and his own will made that expedition to the east a success. The expedition was quite risky, dangerous and full of uncertainties. Due to their will they not only found an alternate route from Europe to the Oreints but visited a number of Eastern countries like China, India etc. and brought home some treasure from the emperor of China (one of the Chinese kingdoms).
