Where are some good places to look into for baby clothes that consist of band shirts, skull caps, etc. Nothing dark and gloomy, but nothing pink and frilly. Hot Topic is overpriced and Amazon/EBay is trying my luck. Any other suggestions on where to go, and a brief description on what they have? Also, would it be wrong of me to dye my daughter's hair fun colors? (I'm a hairdresser, so I know the limits) I'm just wondering if that would be pushing it? She's not at an age where she will care, anyways.

Keep in mind I asked for opinions on dying the hair, which even I think may be a stretch....but I do not wish to hear opinions on how I should dress MY child. If I buy the clothes, I dress her how I please.

Yes, that is exactly what I want- a punk rocker baby. I already have her eyebrow pierced!! Oh, my. I feared that too many close-minded people would be the ones to look into this question. Also, I do not mean "punky" as in gothic attire. No chains, spikes and so on...I want some t-shirts with Pink Floyd or a drum set on them. Is that too much to ask? Unless you are actually going to respond with an answer that fits the question, please do not bother, as I will not bother consider your response.

I dunno... Try http://www.tuttibella.com/rock-and-roll.html maybe...
Anyway, I don't know why anyone would freak out about something like this. I've seem pictures of myself dressed up as a baby, and I personally think I look stupid with all the horrible frilly dresses and *gulp* sailorette outfits (slight exaggeration)... My parents, however, think it's cute. Band tees are classic- it'd save the kid from embarassment in later life! Besides, parents dress up their kids in all sorts of stupid ways, so how can anyone complain because you wanna do it a little differently? Meh... end rant.
I gotta admit though- the eyebrow piercing kinda freaked me out at first, until I realize you were kidding. And the hair seems borderline... I mean, I know parents who give their kids ridiculous hair cuts, but I've never met any who dyed their kids hair... At some point, it's better just to leave off and make a statement through your own appearance as opposed to your kids... Although I guess as long as it's not damaging or permanent, what the hell, right?

Good lord, why? And again... WHY?! I have piercings myself and am a little bit on the "different" side when it comes to clothes and appearance, but I would never push that on my 8 month old daughter. She will get to make those choices when she is old enough, and I wouldn't encourage her either way.
******BUT******* since you are so set on this, have you considered taking an infant t-shirt or onesie or whatever you want to be "punky" to a screen print or t-shirt shop and they can put that kind of stuff on there for you? I've done that before in my town for "custom" hooded sweatshirts and such. They could also do words or band logos or flames or anything you want. I think you would have to find one that was "cool" enough to have those prints available though. Luckily the shop in my town is run by a hippie guy so he has all sorts of cool stuff. Or I can take in pictures of anything and he can make a screen print of it. I think all of those kinds of shops might do that, too. Just an idea!
I wouldn't recommend dying any hair yet. At least wait until she can pick the colors herself!

What a bunch of closed minded sanctimonious people responding to you. I love the idea of funky clothes for little ones - why be boring! I've found some stuff at:
www.jaminga.com
I bought my son the shoes with scull and crossbones on it!!
I also like the stuff at Hot Topic but, agree that it is a little pricey. As far as hair dying, we gave my son a red fauxhawk when he was 10 months old - it was so adorable. We used the red hair gel so it washed right out. Most people loved it. But, some reactions were positively funny - the looks of disgust from uptight people were priceless.
Dress your baby how you want to. I hope Jaminga has some stuff you might like!!

That is ridiculous to dye her hair fun colors NO NO NO!!! Let her wear purple lace dresses and green overalls with yellow tank tops and denim skirts with bears on the seams, let her have bows in her hair and have those bows wind their way around her beautiful natural color (probably Blondie) . You can but it will just put her down in class and make her less trusted. help her grow up wright and polite! Not punk with dangerous delight!

in hardship-free words shop on the sale racks (that's what I do!) objective often has a unprecedented sale rack...I fill up on stuff...i'm getting handfuls of extremely lovable onesies for like $2.50 each and every! often the ultimate sales are even as the recent varieties are coming in and the old varieties bypass on sale... in the different case look into the Salvation military...I extremely have considered sparkling infant clothing (with the tags nonetheless on!)) for a pair money (at maximum) strong success also, the drooling situation...my nephew develop into the WORST drooler ever...he actually wore a bib on a daily basis for a pair months...kept his blouse dry. attempt that so that you aren't to any extent further always replacing your infant.

I love this website:
http://www.filthunlimited.com/catalog/filthnw01.html
A couple great ones :
"My Daddy Rocks the Tables" and "Save the Vinyl", "My Mommy Rocks" is a good one...
the name is a little outlandish, but the clothes are cute :) And just be prepared if you dye your daughter's hair, complete strangers will take it upon themselves to tell you what they think of it (GOOD or BAD!!)
