It's almost like his career is turning into the oppisite of Jordan. How can a man so talented be so hated. I've never seen such a complete denial of ability that comes from the mouths of Kobe haters.

How is he arrogant? Or anymore arrogant than Shaq who calls himself Superman or anyother players who talk trash?

He is just as good as Jordan and they'll probably be more after him as the game evolves.

You know, when some says something about a player that is not flattering, it does not mean he is hated. First of all he is no MJ nor will he every be. He does not have the charisma, the smile or the twinkle in the eye Jordan had and kind of still has. Shaq on the other hand, does have some charisma and knows when to smile. Kobe got the rep for not being a team player and now has to live with it, or prove that he can be a team player. I think he is a great ballplayer, I just don't like his mannerisms, they don't project well. As they would say in the 60's he lacks Cool! Or is that term still in use? Hate is a term that needs to stop being used, it is too strong.

because Katelyn Kristine Faber (born June 18, 1985 in Colorado) is a woman who accused NBA star player Kobe Bryant of rape in July 2003. Under the Colorado state rape shield law, her name was not disclosed by the court until after the case was dismissed in September 2004. She was the complaining witness in People of the State of Colorado v. Kobe Bryant.[1] The case created additional controversy when radio talk show host, Tom Leykis, chose to break with convention by publicly releasing her name.

Kobe is hated because he is arrogant and won a few titles at an early age. Bryant was also hated in high school before he was famous. He was arrogant then also. I suspect some of the hatred may come from the rape case also.

"he is just as good as jordan"
WTF?!!!!!
Jordan can be considered the best NBA player of all time or, if not, right behind Wilt Chamberlain.
What has Kobe done? He won his 3 rings because of Shaq. The Lakers haven't even made the playoffs since Shaq left.
When Kobe wins another 3 rings with no center around him and a bunch of role players (cept Pippen).........then compare him to Jordan.

Kobe is definitely a talented basketball player, but people hate him for many reasons. Many fans view him as a ballhog, a selfish person, and an immoral individual. His past experiences from two summers ago (adultry in Denver) also served as negative publicity. Overall, he is a great basketball player, but is viewed by many as a lousy individual thus causing the hatred. Nonetheless, he is amazing for the Lakers! Where would they be without him?

YOU MUST BE A PERSONAL CHEERLEADER OF KOBE.
DO YOU HAVE NUTS?????
KOBE SHOOTS 45 %. JORDAN, FOR CARREER SHOT OVER 50%,
JORDAN AVERAGE 30 A GAME. kOBE IS AT 23 A GAME.
HE WONT CATCH JORDAN. HE DOES HAVE MORE TURNOVERS A GAME THEN JORDAN.
he had one year when he scored 35 plus a game. what a joke' his other stats suck.
he also has only scored 30 a game back in 03. so how his he close to being MJ ???????

I wonder. Even if he's not as good as Jordan but still he shouldn't be hated as some of the people do. But he must concentrate on his job as you can't stop from giving their piece of mind
