there is this black guy who is always been jealous of me because im cooler than him more popular than him in his own country in this own city and sometimes in his own hood ... he kept saying racist jokes about me and i tried to ignore him not because i cant reply i could its just i dont wanna sound racist because racist people are lowlifes .. anyway he kept going and going i kept ignoring him untill he said " i really think u should change ur name and ur passport to ameircan passport because with saudi passport everyone will hate u ,, ur arab u dont even desrve to get an education you dont desrve to be alive " so i said your the one who should change ur race to arab so girls think that ur rich so they will give u chances because you got no game .. no cute face no good personallity no money .. ur nothing .. so he said since when arabs are rich ? i said since when slaved you !!
i know that wasnt the right thing to say but he asked for it and he pissed me off

i never called black people slaves or anything like that in my whole life ,, im not that kind of a person he just kept going ,, i never been in that case b4 ,,, that punk kid thinks being racist is cool and fun..
i even felt bad when i called him slave but im sure he didnt feel bad when he say " ur the most hated race in the whole world"

You reacted childishly, but you know you did. However, after enduring a lot, it's only human to eventually flip out.
Did I think your last statement was racist? No,I found it a rather funny outburst since to my knowledge Arabs never enslaved Africans in the US. You just came up with the worst thing you could think of to say to make him STOP.
However, now you feel bad about it and you should. What you need to do is keep away from this guy OR if you can't and he begins to needle you again, call his bluff. Just say flat out, 'I know you are trying to provoke me but I'm not going to fall for it.' Then laugh. Believe me, this will aggravate him far more than anything else you could have said and you will not have sunk to his level!

no Faisal dont feel that way, ur not a racist, but he seem to be one.
maybe u helped him with ur comment. if he goes like that with everyone of different group, religion or color without anybody firing back at him, he will become worse.
what u did was like waking him up, to deal with people around him later in life.
u gave him chances and was patient, so u did the right thing, but lets not forget that ur human as he is, and he is no better than u to say stuff not expecting the same thing to happen to him.

Yes, I think you do sound racist. If you were really educated, you shouldve known better than to let him get the best of you. So what if he said a few bad remarks? Doesnt mean that you have stoop to his level and do the same thing he did. Yes, he's a jerk. And I understand why you said all those things. But maybe you should try to keep your cool the next time that happens. Cuz if you really do have game, then you'd just continue ignoring that moron. Like you said, racists are lowlifes. No your not racist. Sometimes we say things we don't mean when we are upset. he was out of line for making those comments to you. I am black and I don't feel that he had the right to say such things to you. But fighting ignorance with ignorance will get you nowhere. next time try to stay calm and tell him that he was wrong for making such a comment and tell him why he was wrong. He will be left feeling stupid and you won't have to about worry whether you offended an entire race.

Do you really think cool is something that you learn? Not only that he may be just a jerk in his own "hood" and people may just like you cause your a nice guy. But never think you can adapt a culture because you "hang-out" there and your "cooler" than so one else that was born and raised there most likely. I mean how would he look going to your town, in your hood thinking he got it like that? He'd look like a fool wouldn't he? So if you "chillin' " "do yo thang" let him hate. I don't think you are a racist, just someone who was provoked beyond control. The fact that you feel bad about what you said proves you are not a racist, because they don't have a conscience. The only problem with answering back to someone is you are bringing yourself down to their level regardless of who it is. I would distance myself from this person, because now, it's just words, situations like this have been known to advance to much more serious problems. Just don't buy into it and try to have more control, you will be the better person for it.

If some1 pissed me off by talking about my race I wouldn't have to say something racist back.
That makes you a racist, I have had racist remarks to me a lot when I was little cause I went to a school that was mostly chinese, & I never said anything racist back to them.
So, I think it makes you a racist.
You could have just told the guy to f*** off, but you said something racist.
& Arabs didn't inslave black people.

No-a true racist would not be concerned about what others think. Besides that-the term has been so overused it has lost most of its meaning. You can't say anything to anyone other than "That's okay" when they insult you (if they're of another race) and you will be labelled a racist. The guy sounds like a jerk. If this person has been pestering you and making false remarks about you in public then it is clear and plain to see that he is the one with complications!!
