It originated from greek mythology where Odysseus was told by the Gods not to venture into unwanted territory however he went to the island of Titans in desperate need of food and was captured by a one-eyed monster who though he was there to steal his food. Later this brought many trials to Odysseus and as the famous literary writer Homer put it "Thou ought not wander, to dangerous places."
