I know in 1989 there was IVORY SNOW but I cant seem to find if there were any detergents back in 1982 that were made specifically for washing baby clothes. I know now they have the dreft, and all has on called all baby. If so please refer me to an article with the year specified as of 1982 thank you.

Yes, "Dreft" is the only other one I know of. This was in use in the 1960's and I'm sure even earlier as well.

Dreft and Ivory Snow, both are still on the market today.
