Both

Here's a quote from wikipedia:
Mars possesses polar caps at both poles, which mainly consist of water ice. Frozen carbon dioxide (dry ice) accumulates as a thin layer about one metre thick on the north cap in the northern winter only, while the south cap has a permanent dry ice cover about eight metres thick.

Mars North Pole is made out of liquid water but its frozen currently. The South Pole is carbon monoxide. Either way the amount of water in the North Pole is enough to satisfy Chicago for 50 years

This ought to be pretty easy to google, Mars does have poles, they seem to have frozen co2 during the Martian winter. I don't think water ice has been discovered there yet but geologic forms indicate water was once there. Perhaps they elected the wrong guy once long ago and succumbed to global warming. Ha ha.
