i mean rihanna like some other girl told me her eyes were naturally green...??? huh? but isnt she black? how did she get green eyes?

You can't assume all black people are going to have dark brown/black hair and dark brown eyes. They have variety just like anyone else. I know black people who have naturally red hair. Yes, they can have different colored eyes. It's not as common because dark hair and dark eyes are dominant genes, so you have to get two recessive genes to hit something else. I even know a naturally blonde Cherokee (although she's half white). My son has blue eyes and you have to go back four generations to find those in my family. Recessive genes can hang in the background for a very long time before they manifest. And Rihanna is from the Caribbean which is widely known as being the world's mixing pot -- way more so that the US has ever been -- so I'm sure some very nice and interesting genetic combinations abound there.

I don't know if they are naturally green, because I've seen her on one photo and they are green, but on another photo they look brown. As a black woman with natural green eyes (and both of my brothers have them) I can say yes black people have green eyes naturally. I have Irish and German blood a few generations back on both sides of my family, which is why we have green eyes. The reason I wonder about Rihanna is that every picture of me or my brothers our eyes never look brown, or even close to brown. Maybe her eyes are more hazel.

hold on now before i answer your question i got sumethin to say to you.Black people can have the same color eyez as other colors, just cause she black don't mean ****.Even if her eyez weren't naturally green she could get contacts.You can take this however you want cause that was the stupidest question ever. And just as well as a white person can have black eyez a black can be born with other eye color other than brown,hazel,and black.

I don't know what color Rihanna is, but African Americans, can have colored eye's. I have a guy in my family, who's eye's are a pretty green color and they're his real eye's. Gene's can go way way way back. Look at Vanessa Williams, her eye's are blue and she claims to be a full African American. It's not every day, that you see African Americans with colored eye's, like it's common with Caucasions, but you will see it occasionally.

there are a lot of african americans that have naturally green eyes. Usually it is because there is something else in there heritage. Also there are a lot of islanders that have green eyes... Especially Jamacians.

She's from Jamaica or some other Caribbean island, and most of the people that come from there aren't necessarily all black, maybe her mom or dad isn't black.

Colored contacts. You can even get them with a picture or something in them. I once saw a woman with the American flag in her eyes.

They're not contacts, she doesnt even have to be mixed..... 4 of my cousins are full african american and have eyes that change colors.....
