When I was searching to find some way to remove grease, I came upon many many answers to use dishwash liquid which makes sense - try the ones that advertise as major grease removers. Good luck.

I use Spot Shot available from Wal Mart Lowes Home Depot Menards Target and most grocery stores in the laundry detergent aisle. Good Luck !

Try this! WD_40. I swear it is great for grease stains. When my new furnace was installed the installers got grease all over my hall carpet (biege) I used WD-40, let it set and after a bit it wiped right up. Also does wonders on shower doors! check out WD-40.com for many tips.

javajoe has the right answer. spot shot will disolve the stain before your eyes with little scrubbing. works great!
