Are you asking US made car on the market? I've read alot of good things about the Ford 500/Mercury Montego, for reliability and safety. also, recently rode in a new Chevy Impala, seems the level of quality has gone up at GM also. For sports cars, I really like the new mustang, but have not driven one yet.

It's all a matter of taste. And mine is the
EVO or STI
I don't think you can beat the performance of those two cars for the price you pay.
