A little heat will do it. Use a hair blow dryer on a low setting to warm the wax a bit and it should come right up with a scrape of your finger nail. wipe surface after removing majority of wax with a damp cloth.

You could try using a hot iron and a brown paper bag. Put the bag over the candle wax on the wall and only for a brief minute iron over the wax. The brown paper bag will absorb all the candle wax from the wall. This is how I removed candle wax from a top that i lent to another person. As for the glass i would use a razor blade

Glass... your should just be able to scrape it off with your fingernail. Wall.... use a paper bag and an iron.

Place the paper bag over the wax and on med/high heat (not steam) iron the bag. The wax will be absorbed into the paper bag. Keep ironing until you have next to no wax left on your wall.

Finaly, using a realy good de-greaser cleaner wash off the excess wax residue and you are as good as new.

I've always found that icecubes are the best for getting rid of candle wax from anything. It also does no harm to whatever you are trying to clean.
