even though you charge the ipod.. whats the lifetime really on the internal battery?

I've had my iPod mini for over a year now, and it's still going.
When I bought it, the salesclerk did tell me that it would last a couple of years, depending on the frequency of use and how good you take care of it.

My Nano lasts about 6 hours playing music and solitare at the same time.

I would say prob. a few years. No telling for sure
