In 1985 there was a small production car called the Pulse built in my hometown in mid michigan, by the Owosso Motor Company.
It was reported to be the fastest production car in the world by Popular Science, Car and driver and others that considered it a production vehicle.
It had 4 wheels, although 1 was front 1 was rear and 1 on each side kept it from tipping over. yeah you guessed it. I t was pretty much a motorcycle even though you sat in in like a car. 2 passangers in tandam seating arrangment.
top spead was reported around 198 MPH
