if i use my wireless internet on my psp can i download day 1 files to my memory stick than move them from my psp to my ps2 via the flash drive option

i just downloaded. but i think i will have to move from /psp/common/ to the root of this drive using my laptop

actually i found out yesterday that it does work. i downloaded codes for liberty city stories to my psp and got them to work in my ps2, and beat the game in just six hours.
