Fill the machine to the level you want and then add the bleach. Make sure it is distributed through the water...then add the clothes.

You can put it in the draw with the soap powder if you like (don't ever pour bleach directly in the drum or you might be sorry you did!) but you are running a risk of residue being left and ruining the next load. The best way to use bleach is to either pour a little directly onto a stain and leave until the stain is gone then boil wash the piece of clothing as normal. Be warned though : doing this to often will eat holes in your vest and pants!
For general whitening or a large load water down some bleach in the biggest sink or bucket you can (aprox. 1 part bleach to 4 or 5 parts water) then add the clothing and sock for at least an hour but 24 hours will give you the best results. Wring out the excess water and boil wash as normal. Although watering the bleach down does mean you can do this a bit more frequently, again don't do this TOO often or you'll get holey knickers!

Hello Kortlin, 1st you run the water, add the laundry detergent, then the bleach, make sure the water is well mixed with the bleach before putting the clothes in the washer! Never put the clothes in (even if they are white) and then the bleach. The bleach still leaves orangish-tan marks on the whites if you do it that way. And most unfortunatly those marks are hard to get out of the whites. Take care.

Let the water fill to the desired amount, than add bleach. With my experience, I have learned that it is best to let the washer run for about 10 seconds, so that the bleach gets evenly distributed throughout the water. Than add the clothes. If you add the bleach after the clothes, you can create large bleach stains on your clothes.

Put the bleach in while it's filling with water and continue to let the water run for about 25 seconds before adding your clothing.

For top loading: Put the bleach in first, then the detergent, then turn on the water to fill it up, that way it will all mix up by itself. Then add clothing...

Many washers have a bleach dispenser which actually puts the bleach under to tub so it has a chance to dilute before touching the clothes. Without the dispenser I would wait until the tub is full of water.

if you have a top loading washer it is probably best to fill the washer and add the bleach. let it mix around a little with the soap and then add clothes..that way your not directly dumping bleach on your clothes.. shut it off if you want to let them soak. if you have a front loader they are coming with a little compartment for the liquid bleach. it will add it when necessary.. good luck
