Is Orange a locked mobile phone network? And, if you buy a phone on Orange, does it have the Orange logo on the handset? Thanks.

Orange always lock their phones, and 99% of time they have the logo aswell. They can be unlocked for a fee.

O2 never lock the phones and have found them to be best.

The locking aspect is done on the phone, not the network.

If it's a locked phone, you can get it unlocked. If you buy a phone directly from Orange it may well be locked. O2 arn't though.

All network service providers provide their phones LOCK to their network so you will not be able to use it on ohter network!

All networks have their logo on their phones as well..

The only one I know that doesn't have one is

3 Hutchinson! No logo.. But locked!!
