I have a used computer that was setup in a network. I tried to get cable internet using ethranet but it will not work. The cable man said the IP is set wrong. How do I change it to a regular home pc, so I can get the internet? Detailed answers, and or website links would be great. However, I dont need people to tell me to take it to a professional. If I were gonna do that I would'nt be asking how to do it.
