For me i like playing a game of basketball and understand it does take a lot of skill but a pro game seems to be guys running from end to end scoring constantly. The only part worth watching is to switch it on in the last few minutes and the last point wins.

I totally agree with you, basketball sucks. Oh look theres two points for team A, now team B has the ball and now they've just got 2 points. Repeat ad infinium.

There is a lot of truth to what you are saying. I find it that when I watch the beginning of the game, I am rarely able to make it through even half time. The only basketball I can really enjoy watching is the NCAA Basketball tournament.

I guess most of the people answering your question, really don't like basketball and don't really have a favorite team to route for, you included.. True some games are kind of boring, but there is always something that gets my attention. There are also players I like on each team and I enjoy watching them play. Every game can't be neck to neck, but would be nice, not to realistic though.

100% true. Why would you want to watch any naff American sport anyhow. Football (where they hardly use their feet) is stop/start/stop/start. Basket ball is exactly like you said and baseball is the same as softball in the UK, A GIRLS SPORT. Ice hockey is cool but I don't even believe that is American. But I maybe wrong.
Football (the real kind were you use your feet) is by far the best sport in the world. It is more skillful than most other sports and this is evident in the fact that the rest of the world LOVES the sport!

i agree with you...i love basketball and id rather be watching college and high school games then watching the pros play since it seems all they do is go up n down the court scoring...its more fun, for me anyway, to see the strategy behind the game then noone tying an everyone scoring....

any game where the scoring is so easy is bound to be boring. They score about 40 baskets a game! After you've seen onw slam dunk you've pretty much seen them all. Basketball is an American sport too - so by definition it is boring!

I totally agree with you at the pro level, but NCAA is way better they paly something called defence. The fans are also more into the game which makes it more fun to watch.

You gotta admit, it's more exciting than SOCCER.
In The Simpsons, Kent Brockman did soccer play-by-play perfectly in a monotone:
"The left wing passes to the center. The center passes to the right wing. And back to the center. And back to the right..."
Then they cut to the international announcer who excitedly shouted, "The left wing passes to the center!! The center passes to the right wing!! And back to the center!! And back to the right!!.."
