After getting home, and before I took the pill, I looked at the bottle to make sure I had the right bottle. They had given me 100mg instead of 10mg. This is not the first time something of this nature has happened to me.

Mine is a very cautious pharmacy. You may want to think about switching

Ive had it happen many times. Mostly for my children's medications. Once they forgot to add water to the antibiotic and gave me the concentrated stuff. After arguing with me they realized their mistake. Once they gave me a bottle that said take 14 times a day for 2 days. The actual prescription was for 2 times a day for 14 days. With that one I called the pharmacy and they had closed for the evening. I left them a message telling them what they had and if it were an actual mistake, I of course knew it was but wanted to scare the crap out of them. When I got in the next morning there were 12 messages on my machine from a very panicked pharmacist. I told them if it had been another parent and another medicine such as a muscle relaxer they would have a dead child today. There is no excuse for this, press the issue to have the one responsible disciplined.

Luckily this has not happened to me. Maybe you should change to a different pharmacy. I know that for different potencies of thyroid each is a different color--an easy way to see that you have the right one. The thing that I have had happen is that suddenly the pharmacy changes the manufacturer of the medicine on me and do not tell me. They are the same mg but a medicine made by different manufacturers can respond differently in the body. I like to be warned ahead of time that there has been a change because my body can be quite sensitive to substances sometimes.
