everytime i try doing something on the internet this popcorn net thing pops up and says i owe them money for a subscription which i never ordered. i cant get rid of it unless i log off and log back on again, and it interupts what i am doing.very annoying

Register, go to the Hijack This Forum, read the instructions on how to post a log, give a brief description of your problem (like you've just typed) and post your log there. The guys in there are fantastic and trustworthy and will guide you through in getting rid of anything nasty from your computer.
You must post a HijackThis log as per the instructions, not just your problem. Good luck!

have you tried your anti virus scan ? if so and your having pop ups, then your virus scan is not doing its job.. AVG, is a great pop up stopper.. stops hackers too.. protects your comp. like a mean dog.. try it.. type free AVG. grisoft.com in your search bar.. its not a trial.. and if you don't like it,, its really easy 2 remove it. i've had AVG. about 3 years now, and i trust AVG, 2 keep me protected : )
