Do whatever your wife says and nobody will get hurt...oh, and always having a gift standing by is not a bad idea, either.

I would:
Take Midol or Tylenol Extra Strength and then go to sleep
Get a bowl of hot hot water and rest on on your lower stomach that helps to ease the pain
Take a hot shower and let the water beat on your stomach
Sit on the toilet and let the blood come out because most of the time pain comes from blood clots so if you let em come out your pain will be gone
Just drink some water - that helps to keep your stomach clear of cramps and blood clots..
I hope these help!

Lie down on your stomach or on the fetal position..
Or in whatever position is perfect for you..
Take Midol.
Make a honey-cinnamon drink. Boil water and then add honey and cinnamon and stir.
Drink water.
Breathe.
Occupy your mind.
Have a shower.
Watch a movie.
Keep moving. Like walking or running or something close to that. Light physical exercise.
Scream.
Put something hot on your stomach.

Take a couple of Advil (or something stronger if you prefer), curl up with a hot water bottle and a nice warm blanket. If you have a cat, let him sit on your lap (I don't know why it works, but when my cat sits against my stomach when I'm cramping, the warmth of the cat and the pressure of his big a-s-s sitting on top of me feel good).

i think, the best way to prevent that is not to drink cold drinks. Sometimes, sleeping or taking a nap can also help.
