My kitty uses the litter pan. So I use this plastic device called a scooper and I scoop to scoop the litter pan and put the stinky stuff in trash.

Quickly and thoroughly as possible using one of those bio enzyme pet odor cleaning products. The odor must be totally removed or your cat will make another mess there again.

She has sifting liners in her litterbox. I just pick up the liner, it automatically sifts out the good litter, then I throw it away !
