Ugly...Ugly...Ugly....
It seems soooo white trailer trashy...
perhaps something a ill-bred, barefoot, toothless, un-wed, teen-aged, mother of three would do......
In order to keep her minimum wage earning, beer guzzling, monster truck rally watching, boy-freind de-jour...

But hey thats just my opinion

When it comes to relationships there is nothing permanent enough for a tattoo. Your relationship might be the greatest ever. However under NO circumstances would I ever tattoo someone's name on my body. Although I have thought about it. The only person that would tattoo on my body is if I had a child. If not In Memory of a Loved One.

I've never seen a Property of...... tattoo.

My friend has tattooed two different girl's names on her a two different occasions she was convinced the relationship would last forever.

She's had to get two cover-up tattoos. Unless you are tattooing "Property of Mom" be prepared for cover-up or laser removal.

Thanks for a good question.

I don't really like them. I am in a serious, life-long relationship and I would not want him to get my name tattooed on him and I would not get his tattooed on me. He has been in a past relationship that was serious and lasted for 8 years. What if THEY decided to get the tattoos with eachother's names? I would be pissed! I just don't like it in my life. If someone else decided it was right for them in their relationship, then who would I be to discourage it?

I'd think it's quite foolish. One never completely knows how or if a relationship will last forever. Getting a name tatoo is bad enough but Property Of? Um, No Way. I may willingly give over everything that I am/have to a relationship, may think of myself as being "yours" but as to being owned? I'm not a piece of property.

Although I love tattoos I am not sure I would want a "Property Of...." tattoo on my body. :) I don't ever want to be someone else's property. :)

I dont think its a good idea to tattoo a name or date but a symbol of something you both love would be ok.

I feel if they played a HUGE part in your life and you love them and will never ever forget them then so what? id do it. If myhusband will get my name, id get his. he says im stupid for suggesting that but evenif we did divorce, he meant the world to me. So what if we didnt work out? But i would NOT get property of. Id get their initials somewhere no one would see it. And if they did then they wouldnt care cause whoever id let see that part of me in the first place (my butt or my lower thigh) wouldnt care cause theyd care about me. If they didnt like it, they are not worth my time. Initials is as far as i would go.

i think that is the most ridiculous thing in the world.
i personally would never get a tattoo of anyones name apart from the ones i have now, which is my grandma, my mother, and my sisters name.
you love someone that much get a piece of jewelry with their name on it, not something thats going to your grave with you
