If it is a newer furnace (with a processing unit in it) you might try turning off the power switch (normally close to the furnace) for a minute or two and then switch it back on. Sometimes this will reset the computer and allows the furnace to resume normal operation. It could be a problem with your thermostat but since the blower is coming on when you put the switch onto the on position, it's doubtful. If you have a programmable thermostat check the batteries. This is about as much as I'd recommend that a homeowner check. Call an HVAC contractor if you can't get it running. Good luck.

It helps if you list the brand name and model number of the furnace and also if it is a Heat Pump, Electric Air Handler, Gas or Oil furnace, when you set the thermostat to fan on, the fan will run continous,, auto mode it only runs when and usually a short period after the main burners come on...,, it is hard to give u an answer without this information

there is something wrong with your furnace the pilot light might be out so check that and you are not getting any heat so only the blower is working make sure you have the gas turned on, the thermostat just turns on the furnace check the heater and see why there is no heat get someone to help you that knows

like reported above ought to be a number of issues, blower defaults to run whilst gadget fails. power down thoroughly. air clear out sparkling? there are shrink switches fixed on or around burners center of swap there's a splash button . push to reset. rigidity swap ought to be caught open, does combustion motor run?
