Thats a good question. I have never thought of it that way. I guess that Halloween is a national Holiday and when Halloween night arrives, it is a tradition to pass out candy to who ever drops by your house and says, "Trick or Treat!" But on a day that is not Halloween, I don't know. I probably wouldn't take the candy just because they could have done someting with that. I know that sounds weird but, yah, on Halloween they still can do something with that candy, but thats why the adults check the kids' candy before they eat it. But anyways, that is a very good question. I don't know exactly how to answer it but I think that is a pretty good answer.

because on halloween, there is always the chance that there is the special Razor Prize hidden away. on regular days, the probability of surprises in the candy drops drastically.
and i love surprises. that's why i refuse the candy offered in july by the shady looking man on the street, but accept it from the lady dressed like a cross between cat woman and casper! unless it's raisins. nice question. :)

Ya very strange, your parents teach you never take candy from a stranger , and then they dress you up and go tell you to beg for it.

I would accept it and say thank you, but I might not eat it. Depends on circumstances and how it's wrapped.
