its amazing how paranoia creates knowledge......."dont openthose pop ups..your legs will fall off...i know this is true"....rubbish.
most of these offers are run by one company and looking at my xbox360 I can honestly say they do work, its not easy though.
if you`re worried about spam mail dont, most accounts now have spam filters or you could just set up a hotmail account and delete it after.
what you have to do is.....
1. sign up....... easy a few details, nothing financial
2. sign up to an offer. these are all from legitimate companies, you probably know of most of them...gala bingo, partypoker.com etc...
you either have to sign up for a free month trial of something like dvd rental (which you cancel after 28 days) or deposit a few quid into a gaming site for a 100% sign up bonus....no big deal....go play some bingo or poker have fun, I did the bingo and actually won £250 on the first day lol
3. this is the tricky bit
get 5 or 10 friends to sign up also depending on the offer, I just blogged it on myspace and got 6 referrals from that, 2 friends did it anyway, 1 more friend did it for me but i had to give him the tenner for the bingo account ( he won 2 and i got it back) and the last one I did in my mums name.
easy, not totally free, It could have £30 if noone had won at bingo, I was lucky and now I have an xbox360 too.
also my legs didn`t fall off

When I first started getting on the internet I would click on all that junk and try to go through the whole thing most of them want you to sign up for a million things and then at the end they want you to use your credit card to sign up for some free trial crap. None of that stuff is legit.

IF you answer one of those schemes where you will probably WIN NOTHING yet you have given your e-mail address to a company that profit to sell to other companies!!!
I entered ONE entry and now have 50 to 75 BULK mails per day from Home mortgage (RENT APT) and free trips, Target gift cards....
They will ask a simple question, then just one more thing to complete your application, PAGE of INTERESTS pops up with YES/NO boxes, and when I gave up and escaped... They already had me on their LIST>>>
BE wary, GOOD LUCK!!!

Hi!
Yeah, I know what you mean!!
However, although they aren't scams, in order to qualify for your freebie, you have to purchase a item or certain services, and you have to get other people to sign up and do the same.
If you've got loads of friends who would be up for it - have a go.
Just remember to read the small print!
Hope this helps!
