when u put on eyeliner is it better to put it on the inside or the outside. i think it looks better on the inside but sum ppl say its not sanitary

It's really not sanitary on the inside, and you may end up having recurrent eye infections. Depending on the kind of infection, it could be very, very serious and cause you to lose your sight.
If you absolutely have to put it inside the lash line, use a new or sanitized pencil every few times so you lessen the chance you'll pick up bacteria.

i do agree that it's not sanitary to put it on the inside, though it does look better. but here's an idea: try mascara on the bottom lashes. it creats the illusion of eyeliner without a deffinate line (and less bacteria)

If you wear eyeliner on the inside of the eyes they appear to be smaller on the other hand if you wear it on the outside they appear much larger. Dont forget to smudge the liner a bit so you don't get harsh lines though.

these people are totally right my friend putting liner in the inside of your eyes can contribute to infections. Also when u pull on your eye to be able to line the interior part you will dispose the skin around your eyes to premature sagging and not to mention the fact that it will always run, a good liner job is done at the lashline as liner has been created to accentuate the lash line.

The Inside is where its supposed to be worn. Its hard to tell if you wear to much on the outside but you have a natural small like to follow on the inside of your eye! to add a more dramatic effect you should put a small small small! line of eyeliner on the outside of your eye but on your eyelid... just put it inbetween your eyelashes and smudge it! it will create a GREAT dramatic Effect!

It is sanitary, as a woman from the middle east I tend to put it in the inside of my eye, the rim. I use Kajal, which has proven to be "healthy" for the eye. =D

It is out now. I agree it is not good for the eyes. best to be natural. Maybe just a good skin cream or toner and some protective lip stick. Avoid eyeliner and shadows. They are not natural. People should not look like racoons.

Outside, definitely. Inside makes your eyes look smaller, it comes off quickly, and looks the opposite of classy (if you know what I mean).

the out side but dont make it to think on the outside then u will look funny but put it right under ur eyelash and make it thin well i think it loos better thin so i would use a sort tip its not a penical it works alot better

i put it on the inside, and i like it. i just wouldnt share eyeliiner with other people if youre putting it on the inside.
