When I was very young, my parents took us to the drivein to see "The Thing". I remember hiding behind the seat every time I suspected that the thing would come on the screen. When I saw it when I was older, I laughed that I was afraid of James Arness the actor who played Marshall Dillon in Gunsmoke.

The scariest movie I have ever seen was Ghost Ship.
I saw that movie four years ago when I was 10, and it emotionally scarred me for life. :-|

"The Stepford Wives" It deviated so little from reality in the way that society viewed the role of women ( and in many instances still does.) over the past century.
It scared me and I love watching horror flicks!
