How to I restore the sheen to my handmade glycerin soap?

I know how it lost its original luster (too much handling), but is there any way to make the surface shiny again?

Shine it with a soft cloth? We visited a small soap-making factory this summer, and that's how they got the lav. glycerin soap to shine in the first place.
