well first of all if she was my daughter i wouldn't let her dated a guy that age. second maybe she wasn't your friend at all. but you have to see it's this way. you can do so much. if she doesn't want to listen then let it be. let her learn the hard way. about her parents maybe they have there reasons. every parent is different. how to raise there kids. so i wouldn't bother with that. live your life and have fun. so good luck

Maybe if they were 24 and 35 or older but this sounds like a disaster in the making. If they do end up sleeping together any time soon, it is considered statutory rape EVEN if she is consenting. I don't really know what you can do if your friendship is broken but as a parent, there is no way I would allow this. I personally couldn't date ANYONE til I was 16 and even then I know I wouldn't have been allowed to date someone 11 years older than myself.

NO 14YEAR OLD OF MINE - Oh helllllll no!!!
I would like to meet the parents of this impressionable young girl!!! I am sorry, but she is way too young for any one in that age range!!! Her mother and Father should know this and handle it accordingly!!!
I am sorry you lost a friend over this - but it is her situation and this is something you can not control. Unfortunately she has chosen a guy over a friend, which will pan out ot be the wrong decision in the long run. Maybe you can just be her friend when she needs it - and let her know you are never too far.

If she were 20 and he 31 I wouldn't see anything wrong with it but, 14 and 25 is very wrong. She's a child, he's an adult. This is illegal and he could go to jail for it. Yes, her parents are very wrong to let this continue. Can you do anything? I don't know. Probably not. I see tragedy ahead for your friend. But, if you have alreadly talked to her about it, then just leave it alone and find other friends.

There is definately something wrong when a 25 year old is with someone who is 14. That should be reported and her parents should be in jail. What's wrong with people these days?

You can not control another person's behavior.
You think they probably haven't slept together, and the parents know and are OK with it.
Are you reading something into this relationship that isn't there?
Are they dating/romantically involved, or are they friends with mutual interests who enjoy each other's company?
There's nothing wrong with any two people being friends.
So, we can't tell, from what you said here, whether there's anything wrong. (The parents not having a problem with it makes me think you are reading too much into it.)
What happened to your friendship, exactly? Why are you no longer friends?

DAMN!!! 11years older!! thats rape right there.and her parents!maybe they dont no how old he is.you should talk to her parents and find out whether they no how old he is or not.try to talk your friend. and dont be surprised he she doesnt listen to you.atleast you gave her advise.if she pushes you back and tells you its her buisness then let it be.dont fight with her.the day she gets hurt she'll come back to you and tell you sorry and that you where right.let her learn for herself.just tell her to take care.
P.S- these days when an older guy goes out with some1young like your friend all they want is pussy.and once they get it they'll leave the girl.all they want to do is party and no lasting relationship
i just hope your friend doesnt make a mistake.and be with her when she needs you no matter what.OH YEA never tell her I TOLD YOU SO..

Well, you shouldn't end your friendship over something that is really her buisness. I think that is pretty wrong and her parents aren't very smart about it not to mention it's illegal. But if she feels that strong about him then let her feel that way and be there for her even though you feel it's wrong

Report this to your councelor at school. Be sure to mention the fact that her parents are not taking proper action which is a form of neglect.

Hi,,,, you have to be kidding me ...
Thats playing with fire there,,, i hope that he knows about being sent to prison if he beds her and she tells her parents...
the difference in age is nothing, most Americans are the ones who think everyone should be the same age when they marry or date.... no one in the world does... and i agree.... except in this type senario,,, she is much too young....
good luck
