She's not talking about elastic stretch jeans. She's talking about the kind that have a bit of spandex in the material. The Express sells them (I think they're called X2, but that doesn't mean it's for big girls), and they've worked well for me. They form around your body, so you don't have that gap. On skinnier days, I do have to wear a belt with them, but that's just an excuse to accessorize. Good luck!

I have the same problem. Every other part fits perfectly, but there's always a space in the back. Wearing a belt helps a bit, but there's always a space back there when I sit down. I'm a denim maven, and I've tried every brand out there and my best solution is to pair my jeans with long fitting tanks or tops (worn over the jeans) underneath whatever else whether it be a hoodie, sweater, button down etc. HTH!

You have the wrong brand of jeans. If you have a butt try Baby Phat, Apple Bottoms, Abercrombie, Gap Long and Lean, Seven7, or Gap Curvy. Good Luck. 1-2% Spandex will help too. Then take your jeans to the tailor.

Take your jeans to an alteration shop. It is very inexpensive, they will take out some waist material and your jeans will fit perfectly. I have had problems with jeans, too. Every pair of jeans I try on in my size fit perfectly everywhere...except for the length(too long, I am 5'3") and the gap above my behind...I should buy stock in an alteration shop :-)

angels, old navy jeans, and paris blues are really the only ones that fit me good because the rest either too big from legs or too small from waist. its a lifetime struggle. if you have the money buy more expensive jeans:they have jeans with better chances of fitting.
also check if it could be the brand or you might need a belt. byez:)

I would suggest getting stretch jeans. Since they fit "snugly", i don't think you will have the same problem. also, it may be the brand jeans you are buying. maybe try different brands. good luck!
try the stretch jeans! i have quite a few (angels, mudd, lei, gap, old navy, tommy etc.) & love them. regular jeans are too hard. i like something i can move comfortably in...

i know what you're talking about!
i used to be like that too, so the solution is to get lower waisted jeans, and make sure it fits well, not loosely. is it loose around the thigh area too? if so then maybe you're just like me too skinny to fit into most jeans. blahhh. but keep on searching cause they DO have it in our sizes! =]]] i hope i helped =]

sounds like your waist is smaller then your thighs/butt, so you'll probably have to get the jeans tailored.
