sound as if you have a problem with one of the front wheel speed sensors losing a signal and creating an ABS event. as one of the others have mentioned, need to have scan tool to retrieve code and diagnose from there .

if your truck was equipped with a hydro-boost brake mechanism (hydro-boost uses the pressure from the power steering pump to create softer braking) that might be your problem.

please remember that your ABS system is designed to prevent brakes from locking up during emergency braking not allowing the car to Begin sliding out of control

the best way to resolve your issue is to follow proper diagnostic procedures, like pulling trouble codes with a hand held scan tool, checking technical service bulletins pertaining to your make & model vehicle, trying to get a dirt cheap souliton to an ABS ussaly ends up costing you lots of cash & an endless pile of frustration

I bet you have a bad wheel hub (bearing). Test this by when you turn the corner. If you make a left turn and the moaning gets louder then your left hub is bad. If you make a right turn and it gets louder then its your right hub. When the hubs get really bad the sensor will normally come on for the ABS.

just sounds like your brakes need to be worked in for awhile. especially if the rotors werent turned. might also want to take it back to them with the complaint and see if they can help you often they dont greese the riders which make the brakes stick so I do them myself.
