They pursue YOU! ...all of you. Your heart, mind and soul. Not just the physical aspects. They want what is best for you, and provide the words AND actions to back that up. They treat you with honor and respect. Those are actions of real love. Read I Corinthians 13, and find out what real love is, not Hollywood's counterfeit version. DO NOT SETTLE for less because you think you will not find better. If all he wants from you is sex, that would be lust, not love. Send him packing! Wait for the real thing!! You deserve it!

Just saying is not enough. It is the beginning though...... Over time, by actions, you can tell if he CARES for you. Now, that's love. You will feel it deep down in your heart. It is mutual.
Give it time. Like - 3 years. If he is still the same as he was on day 1, then yes he loves you.
But it is also a two way thing. If you do not love him it does not just happen automatically...! If he has only one thing in mind, that is, SEX, and constantly forces you to have it - then no, it is not love.

You can't really 'tell' if a man loves you.
Love is just a chemical imballance between hormones that wares off after a while usually. So, if you love this man, and want to get married, wait a bit so your hormones can settle down.

It has to do with how he treats you. Is he respectful? Does he value your opinion? Is he caring, attentive, honest, giving, and puts you first?
If you can answer yes, then he's in love. If you can't then I suggest you not waste your time. Oh, one big way to tell if its love or lust; if he pressures you for sex...it isn't love.

every guy is different,just like every girl is different.Some guys dont show much emotionand others do.If he is there for you through good times and bad that is how you know.
