we are both participant and spectator....while in dream we design our situation and then live it too...i have experienced it several times that when i dream i participate in it....and i am watching things happening around too......... then i turn out to be a causator and change dreams according to me

Both. In most of my dreams I am for some time a participant and the next moment become a spectator. I also change charecters i m playing and usually roam through 2 or 3 participant in the dream event.

Dreamers can be both. But that is your dream. Even if you are a spectator or projected someone, that could represent you.
After all, it is your dream. Any part of the dream can symbolize part of you, part of your feeling, personalities

I'm almost always a participant. Very rarley am I anything else. But when I am, I'm both.
