It can't be any more frightening than Bush, Cheney, Rove, and Rumsfeld.

I'd much rather see people in positions of power who are more moderate and willing to work together with the party across the aisle. But given that I probably only have a choice of the radical left or the radical right, I can only say that I'm not at all impressed with what the Right has been doing and I'm willing to see if the Left can do any better.

even as i do not trust Murtha or Kerry,I nonetheless thank them for serving. Reid and Pelosi,i extremely do not supply a lot concept too. Hillary on the different hand, i'm so ill of already. i will't trust she's attacking Obama over an innocuous dream that all babies have in college(I went to his website).

Hastert, Rumsfeld, Rice - these guys have done such a wonderful job that they deserve to stay in office? I don't think so.

The Goppy's keep saying that the Dem's will cut and run. Well what's your solution because something has to change. What Bush and his clowns are doing isn't fu*king working and it's costing hundreds of lives a month. They're the ones calling the shots. What's their plan? Why do they deserve to stay in office?

In charge of what???

Surly you are not thinking the Government of the United States of America.

Last time I checked it was still By the People and For the People.

Unless your one of those deconstructionists that want people to believe Elected Officials should be celebrities with leader attached to their titles.

Go big Red Go

I won't vote for those jokers anymore. All the major party political candidates are mean spirited, bitter and power hungry. The Democrats and Republicans have run to the middle so much anyway and placated so many people with money, that there's not a thin dime's difference in their overall performance.

Politicians and governments are not good at "convincing" or helping people. Only FORCING them to obey. Getting more people to vote in the first place will help diminish the power politicians have of buying groups' support with campaign promises.

For me, I vote third party only. You have more choices than you are led to believe. To see ALL of the ballot choices in your district, go to Project Vote Smart. http://www.vote-smart.org

Yes, I agree. HERE'S THE NANCY PILOSI VOTING RECORD:::::::::::::::::::Consider the following votes (all opposed by the vast majority of Americans):
On July 31, 1996, Pelosi voted against the historic Welfare Reform Bill and later voted against its reauthorization;
On July 19, 2006, Pelosi voted against protecting the right to say "one nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance;
On Sept. 20, 2006, Pelosi voted against requiring that voters be identified so we could ensure only legal citizens are voting;
On July 13, 2006, Pelosi voted against requiring English on ballots;
On June 30, 2005, Pelosi refused to side with homeowners against the Kelo decision
that allows cities to seize private property for profitable ventures,
even though 365 members voted to stop cities from taking private property.
Pelosi has voted at least 12 times against the death penalty;
Pelosi was one of only 67 House members to vote against the 1996
Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA);
Pelosi has voted at least eight times against banning partial-birth abortion,
at least three times against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act (Laci's law),
and scored a perfect 100 percent rating from NARAL Pro-Choice America;
Pelosi voted against a bill that would "[b]ar the transportation of a minor girl
across state lines to obtain an abortion without the consent of a parent, guardian or judge;"
Pelosi voted at least 31 times for using local or federal taxpayer dollars to fund abortions; and
Pelosi received an "F" rating from the National Rifle Association.

What tax cuts? Oh, you mean those cuts the wealthy got.
And let's bring the troops home before more Americans die in Bush's little war - we have no business being there.

VOTE DEMOCRATIC FOR A BRIGHTER AND SAFER TOMORROW AND BETTER AMERICA!

I can see these people in charge but won't be really happy about it. If Bush and his cronies can be in charge I am sure just about any idiot can run the government. Bush is the worst president this country has ever had.

Sadly, both parties are so corrupt it doesn't make a difference - both are for illegals against middle-class tax paying Americans...
