Ok I'm fed up with this bullshit. My father is Italian, my mother is Dutch and I was born in Switzerland. I currently live in Rome, ok? Volete che parli italiano, volete che vi dimostro che vivo in Italia? Serve qualcos'altro? Vi sorprende che c'è un Italiano che non è orgoglioso della propria squadra?
I support France because I love football, and I want to support the team who played the best football, that's why I didn't like my countries, I was very proud of Switzerland in the first round but then against Ukraine it was embarassing. People who support their countries blidnly and don't accept their limits are idiots, I support France because they were BEST team in the World Cup. I'm not like 90% of Idiot Italians who envy France and hate her. Come on, it's over with Italian-French rivalry were in the European Union and we Italians can say whatever we like, but France is a greater country anyways. Perhaps we have better food and beautiful places but France has a greater history, and our countries are related so why so much hatred. I was so angry when Italians were degrading Zidane, the same people who a few years before were saying how Zidane was an amazing player.
Come on be honest, remember Totti-Poulsen (to be objective, I still remember Frei from Switzerland spitting), De Rossi, Materazzi red cards. Come on Materazzi is the worst player in the world for discipline how can you like him, and Totti's IQ is lower than Beckham's.
I would support Italy if the arrogance were washed away, if Italy's fans like all of you would be like me, supporting Italy when they deserve it. Italy's world cup was atrocious, horribly boring. I turned off theb tv during the Germany game. How can you say you deserved it? Like Brazil in 2002, come on Turkey and the USA were the teams who would have deserved that world cup.
Look at the teams in 2002:
Brazil - if it weren't for Ronaldinho they wouldn't have passed the group stage
Germany - Saint Kahn brought Germany to the final, thanks to his amazing saves, he played the greatest goalkeeping display in world cup history, even better than buffon this year.
Korea - cheated all the way
Turkey - deserved to be there
2006-
Portugal - cheated against Holland (maybe not their fault, but definitely didn't deserve to win that way)
Germany - amazing world cup, would have deserved to win against Italy
France - kicked out Spain and Brazil, should I say more? Italy would have lost to Brazil or Spain I bet
Italy - fine, great defence, great goalkeeper, but that's it, there was nothing else up front, you can't win a world cup the way greece won the european championship and then say you deserved it.
I call myself Swiss because I love Switzerland, but I love Rome and I love the Netherlands in the same way. When you belong to many countries you're more open-minded. I swear I would have said the same had Holland won it without deserving. I've just been trying to say all this time that I don't think Italy deserved it and that Italians should be open about it, like me. I support France now because I love their style, and who cares if I'm not French. I don't believe in borders and nations, we should love all countries and people in the same way, the world is a beauty thanks to its differences, and I'm ready to live in a world of respect and praise for all cultures. I'm the kind of person who says Italian food is the best, French is the most beautiful language, Dutchmen are the nicest people,Switzerland has the most amazing landscapes, Greece has the most beautiful history etc. Is it so hard to be open-minded?
Anyways, most of you will keep on criticizing me, and it's that attitude which leads to human defects and faults like prejudice, nationalism, racism etc., I don't care what you think, I know I see things the right way and there might be a day I'll cheer for Italy when they deserve it, for now I very much hate their attitude on the pitch and their players who look more like models, who are violent, who swear, who are rude, and especially Italian newspapers and media who always praise their country and are always ready to criticize the outer world saying Italy is the only good country in the world, Italians are the best people in the world, you can't imagine how much I hate this attitude, and up until now it's something I've only found here in Italy, for that matter I love watching games on swiss tv, at least the journalists there are objective and humble. Football is a fun sport, not some gladiatoral struggle between nationalist fanatics, open your eyes, it's people like you who are the heart of the negative side of football.
Well I'm done for now, Vive la France, viva l'Italia ...It's sad to have to see my fellow countrymen behave like this in front of foreign people

umm they ar'nt that bad all them are nice and all france supporters are too but there is some ppl who are making that thing bad , anyway the peson havent to judge some others just ecouse he has hear about them something he have to know them and then u will think them that they are really nice persons

yes evn i feel tht, n its true too, but evn i don think juventina is tht bad... evn she is a human, only difference is in their character... swiss has a better character thn juventina, but juventina is also kind, she jus supports her country, mite b blindly, but think, she supports buffon, buffon is anyway not tht bad at all... not all ppl r ignorant, u c, hu made these country n all this stuff??? sure, its we humans, to rule properly, but the ppl livin in one place is the same as the ppl livin in another, diff is their style of livin which affects their character. but i really hope dr zizou apologizes for bringin in religion into the fite...
