yes my friend came over last time and and was using my laptop n deleted some video flies which were important. is there any way i can restore them there not on the recycling bin and i did a file search and they dont appear anywhere please help. thank you

There are programs you can buy to restore deleted files. The trouble is, the space the files were taking up on your PC are marked as ok to have new data written to them. So, the more you use your computer after deleting a file, the greater the chance that you're overwriting the deleted data.
Buy a program that undeletes and don't use your computer anymore until you have restored your files, if you can.

there are programs such as tune up or whatever that will bring back your deleted files, but they won't work if the computer has been formatted, go to http://www.download.com and search there.
