Either buy a sattelite signal strength meter from Maplins or get a sky installer to re-align. It will not take him long.

Point your dish roughly South towards 22 deg latitude or just look where other dishes are pointing. There is a rough signal strength meter built into your receiver. You will need a friend with a loud voice to tell you when the signal is strongest. Sepearte meter is more accurate.

No, unfortunately not. Satellite engineers use a signal tester to get the best signal quality and signal strength from your dish. If you've been a Sky customer one year or less a service call will be free of charge and the engineer will fix the problem in no time.

You need to line the arm thing, I think it's called the LNB, through a gap (you must have a building or trees maybe in the way of the signal). If you have neighbours see how theirs are positioned. We had the sme problem. You need only to gently tap the LNB If this doesn't work you'll either have to wait till you see an installation van in the street and offer the bloke a drink £20 should do it, else you'll have to phone for a sky engineer. Don't know what they charge for call out. Hope you're watching your fave programs soon.

you will have get an engineer to do prob. The dish has to face a certain direction and be at a precise declination. You might get somewhere by looking at another nearby and using trial & error
