Hello, I guess you know that you have to be true to yourself don't you? You dishonor yourself when you have something to say or want to do something different - but instead you follow the group.Maybe you're afraid of criticism or peer pressure or maybe you lack self esteem & think your ideas aren't as good as anybody elses. Any great leader has allways gone with what he thought was right regardless of the groups opinion- and that shows strenght & you will get respect- something you don't get when you follow the group. Make up your mind now that the next time when you get in this type of situation that you will speak up-talk to yourself out loud if you have to ....
'that I will speak up!"...and see what happens...good luck to you bye bye

self esteem.

worried that standing up for the right thing will be the unpopular vote.

you've got to quit caring what everyone else thinks and know that you are capable of making the right decision regardless of what their opinion is.

when your faced with the next situation, ask yourself:

1) if i speak up, what's the worst thing that could possibly
happen?
2) if i don't say something, what's going to happen?

good choice/bad choice.

obviously, you would want to pick the better of the two scenarios. and MAKE yourself go with it even if it scares you to death to do so. you'll feel like a stronger person for it and you'll begin to gain some confidence in yourself. it will get easier and easier every time. and believe it or not, you WILL gain the respect of the crowd. doing what is right doesn't always make us popular, but it does win us respect and it does turn us into leaders.

good luck!

You are just going to have to become brave and vocal, honey. When you do that, others will look at you for opinions and leadership. Practice on small decisions and then tackle the larger ones. Don't be afraid to express yourself. Godloveya.
