actually, my i really dont know what my personality problem or whatever you call it... It might be ADD or ADHD of some sort... I usually lack the motivation to finish a certain task or project and even if i try i usually lost my focus on that specific work.. To give you an idea, I'm a freelance programmer and i usually accept projects from clients, as the project is given to me i analyze the the program and is usually motivated in trying to solve the most difficult logic or part of the application and after i got the hardest part of the application i usually tend to lose motivation and usually delays my project which in return pisses of my clients. I know i could finish a project but usually i tend to lost focus, concentration, and motivation... What do you think? is this ADD or just a type of personality problem... ?

I love figuring out complex problems and HATE mundane details. If your business can afford it hire a helper for the mundane stuff, i.e. delegate. It might actually help your business grow.

I have been trying to "fix" myself for many years. It does not work. Go with your strengths, accepts your weakness and "make it work". :)

You already started the business which is more than I can say for my writing career.

I do the same thing. Often, it's because I've taken on more than I can handle - or if a client is particularly difficult - they always get shoved to the bottom of the pile, when if I just did the work they'd be GONE.
See if you haven't committed to doing too much first. Really try to get the oldest stuff off your desk before you take on the newer stuff.
Also, I find if the issue bores me, I hate working on it. Again, I should be more selective in what I take on - is this an option for you?
I'd try these things - then seek out a counselor re: depression and the other stuff - maybe you're just bored with your jovb.
Good Luck!

Feels like someone has your remote and is changing your channel, doesn't it? Ask your doctor for a referral to a specialist that can get you an acceptable dosage of Concerta or something to improve your focus. I probably have that a little myself, I find myself jumping from task to task. Have been able to manage it. My son needs the medicinal help. Good luck.

It's not ADD or a personality problem. You need to do things that challenge your creativity and have little patience for busy work. If you could create work for yourself that was a constant challenge, you would not lose focus.
