Is there anything you regret or something you wish you had done differently? Would you have any piece of advice for a teenager today?
I wish I had stood up for myself more.

yes, i would...i'd have more fun. but i would also have worked harder at my school work and would have slept with that guy i dated when i was 16...for sure!!!!!

advice....everything you are taught in school is for a reason. work hard cos your future success depends on it. don't get pregnant or get her pregnant, it'll ruin your life (or make u grow up too fast). always use protection...V.D.is real! and enjoy your freedom and the fact you are virtually carefree! life is very short........oh ya.......love and respect your mum and dad....you may not have them tomorrow!

I dunno, actually. There is a lot that I wish I had done differently, like you, I wish I had stood up for myself, especially against my parents on the subject of religion. I wish I had chosen a different Uni and different subjects, I wish I hadn't let Mandy go (long story)
But the thing is, if I changed those things, my life would be completely different now, and much that I do appreciate and cherish would never have come about. I would, in effect, be a different person, so I'm not sure if wishing to alter the past is like saying you want to commit suicide.
But I would say that my teens were my happiest years, and I miss them.

Definately would not!! 13 to 15 were the worst years of my life, girls are really mean at that age. 16 to 19 I had a lot of fun partying and stuff but I acted really stupid and dated a lot of jerks. If i could give any advice to any young girls out there, don't sleep with a guy because you think it will make him like you because it wont! You just end up making yourself look foolish in the end and you feel like crap about yourself. However, there is always hope at the end of the road, I met my husband when I was 20 and have been happily married since.

I wish I had waited before I got pregnant (don’t get me wrong I love my son dearly but I was only 17 when he was born 18 years ago, I felt like I was the only single parent back then and I was very lonely) I have since gone on to have another four children to add to my “collection” and my son has turned out to be a smart lad but I wish I had thought of the consequences of having unprotected sex so young.

There are certain times that i wish i could releive coz they were amazingly brilliant. But all the same i love these times too coz living in the moment is all that life is about. If you don't it will pass you by and you will regret not doing so. I love every bit of my teenage years. And i love now too. Sooo much. Every single bit of experience has made me who i am today.

I did a lot of unwise things during my teens but i don't regret any of them i learnt from my mistakes back them and hope im a better persons for that. I would advise teens to think before they act tho something i didn't back then and 9 times out of 10 got caught and think of your future and no i would never do it again once was enough

Absolutley, but everything is 20/20 in hindsight, and I wouldn't have learned the things I did. I would have focused more in school, and tried to go straight to college instead of taking a 6 year hiatus in the military. I wish that everyday.

It's fun to imagine how things would have turned out different if you could re-live them again, but the condition we always set is "...knowing what I know now." We all regret things when we review them, but we have to live life forward, so forget what's happened, forgive yourself so you can let it go, and play the next play. Start standing up for yourself now and things will turn out differently in the future, and that's the best reaction you can have. Good luck.

If I relived my teens I would have to go through pubity again, na being 25 would be good again old enough to drink and mature at the same time. Cool way with healthy body to be with the partner ;P

Not for all the money in the world.

Being a teenager is hard stuff. I think alot of people and parents forget what it feels like to truly be caught between being a child and an adult. Sure, I made mistakes, we all do. But its part of what makes me who I am today.
