I need to know how much it costs to get there, and what means of transportation I can take. Are taxis much better than buses, vice versa.

i cant give you a striaghtforward answer coz i've never really taken the public transpo to clark.
but i can tell you this....do not take a cab from manila all the way to clark. chances are you're gonna pay too much.
bus fares cost less than P200 ($4) for an airconditioned coach.
are you in manila right now?
try calling these bus companies coz i know these are the ones that offer hourly trips to clark field in pampanga.

If I was you I would Book a ride through Beeline Travel or with Central Park. Both are Safe Dependable use well trained Drivers plus are Old Friends of Mine..:) Costs are about $45 USD just click my links below. I would also suggest staying at Central Park if you wanted to be right in the heart of the Action.

go to the pasay city terminal and get a bus straight there it goes straight to clark airport heres a great link of the bus times and it will tell you all www.philtranco.com.ph
