Is it okay for and employee to tell his Boss' BOSS to "CHILL OUT"??? Should that employee be fired? and we are talking about a BOSS that pays $10k not a flemsy $200.00 pay check.

Well, in my country (the Netherlands) that would be very well possible, since we don't have an hierarchal society. Generally speaking bosses over here prefer to have a more or less equal relationship with the people that work for them. Personally I wouldn't be offended if an employee of mine would tell me to chill out.

But of course this greatly depends on the tone of voice and other circumstances!

BTW: for me it's irrelevant whether you are paying this employee 10K or 200 dollars. People should treat each other with respect regardless of how much money they make or get.

That is why I like being part of a union. My employer cant fire me because he decided he didnt like the color of my eyes. If hes going up and fire me it has to be for things that are spelled out in the handbook and there has to be a pattern of my inability to do the job or insubordination.
