I live in Reisterstown and work in Owings Mills. I happen to love where I live.

I hear Carney is a good place too. Our family house is in Severn, near BWI. It's pretty cool there and you have all the major highways to get anywhere.

Yeh. That's pretty funny!

I live in Owings Mills for a few months after moving out of Fell's Point...but even OM isn't safe.

As sad as it is- look at a map of the MEtro. Where it doesn't run, you will find lower crime.

I had a bunch of friends who lived in Westminster, and they liked it, but I believe apartments are sparse out that way, and most the houses are well water, and septc tanks.

Good luck!

I've always liked Cockeysville / Hunt Valley - easy access to I-83 and Light Rail.

Anything inside the Beltway and north of the city line is also considered very safe.

Harford County-Bel Air is very nice
Howard County-Columbia is great (I lived there)
Anne Arundel County-Annapolis is stunning but expensive.
Well, they are all expensive.
