You need to use a good Whey Protein. The Whey Protein sticks to you a little better than any other kind you'll find out there. Try to take a least 4 servings of it a day coupled with a good diet.

By diet, I'm not saying count calories but don't eat lots of fat and sugar or you won't build muscle you'll just add fat. Eat lots of chicken and fish which contain a better muscle building protein than red meat. Eat plenty of fiber which you can get from salads and oats or a good cereal to help flush out any bad stuff in your system.

I'd add a few eggs to my morning breakfast if I were you. You can get the egg beaters which are healthier and easier to use as well...they'll work the same and add bulk to you.

Try to stay around 4000 calories a day and work out with heavy weights. IF you can do more than 8 of any lifting exercise then you aren't using enough weight to bulk up...your just cutting up.

So you don't lose definition you might spend your off day or at least one day a week going through each body part doing very high reps of low weight but come back the next day and torture yourself with a lot of heavy weight.

You'll bulk up and add weight before you know it. All of those other supplements are bs by the way....creatine and all those pills are just a waste of money...you flush them out of your system within a day or two....

You don't want to simply eat lots, you want to eat lots of protein. Protein supplements are ok, but read the fine print - how much do you have to consume to get x amount of protein and how many of those "doses" do you get in one container. You also want to think about how easily it mixes up (can you give it a couple of shakes in your water bottle, or do you have to run your blender on high for 10-15 mins) and what it tastes like (some have a "chemical" taste, the egg ones tend to be quite sweet). As far as exercises go, you don't need anything particularly strange or unusual, the trick is in the reps and weights. A higher weight and lower rep workout will give you bulk. But toss in some endurance workouts (higher reps, lower weight) too. You don't want the kind of development that will enable you to lift a small engine block, but not spend a weekend moving furniture.

You need to bulk up, which involves eating good meals with protein, and excercising. Be careful with the supplement proteins, don't use any that contain iron. People think that if they eat a lot and lay around they will gain weight. Uh huh. They gain fat. And muscle weighs more than fat, so that's another plus in your case. You don't have to 'work out', just a lot of fun stuff like swimming, hiking and getting involved in sports.

I know a lot of people who've tried. Sorry to say it didn't work. On the plus side, as they got older, they remained trim and fit looking while all the other guys got potbellies. I predict many women will want to trade their husbands in for you when you're in your 40s.

Join a gym, eat right, and be serious about it. Train your large muscle groups (chest, back, and legs) early in the week.

Also, do squats, for a total body workout.

Good luck!
