Do you feel stupid afterwards... seriously... sometimes i watch something on tv and end up crying... and two minutes later i just feel completely ridiculous...

Crying over a movie or TV program proves that you are a kind, gentle, and sensitive person and you feel intense empathy for others. This is a good thing! I would rather hang out with someone who has your characteristics than someone who is cold and uncaring about the suffering of others.
It's OK to cry. Tears release a certain chemical that makes you feel better afterward. Maybe you needed to cry about something in your own life and the TV show was merely a catalyst.

Of course I cry. Healthy humans do!! And of course, sometimes I feel a bit silly after wards because I cried. Not always though. But I do like privacy for the event. Doesn't always happen. And more than once I have seen a male partner reach for the hanky box at a sad time in movies, or even life. And that is a truly beautiful thing, but I carefully pretend I don't see, they definitely like their privacy, for obvious reasons.

Everyone cries at some point. You shouldn't feel stupid because you see something on TV that makes you cry, it's good to let your emotions out. I read somewhere that crying is very healthy and everyone should cry at least once a day to help relieve stress and anxiety.

Yep. I cried over Lady & The Tramp lol. Then I laughed so hard afterwards lol If you've ever watched the movie Touched, now it will make you cry at the end. A very emotional movie.

No. But then, I am old, and us old folk cry at the drop of a hat. But I don't feel ridiculous because I can feel emotion when some actor or writer is trying to make me feel emotion. That called "art", and appreciation of art is called "civilized."
Nothing to be ashamed of, unless you live amongst trolls and barbarians.

I cry all the time, I cry at the end of amazing race when someone gets eliminated, I cried at the pokemon movie, I cry all the time. I don't feel stupid though
